The Quality Assurance Senior Auditor is responsible for monitoring the quality of the work of the certified public accounting (CPA) firms that have been approved to perform the audits and other attestation engagements of state and local government agencies and quasi-public organizations in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 24:513.
A Information Technology (IT) Auditor is a training and evaluation position. During the first year, the auditor develops an understanding of Louisiana Legislative Auditor policies and procedures, and a good working knowledge of how to plan, conduct, and document processes and controls involving IT on a wide variety of computer platforms. In addition, a IT Auditor I is expected to be actively working to take and pass one of the primary IT audit certifications (CISA, CISSSP, CPA), if not already certified.
The position requires a working knowledge of IT auditing techniques; IT good practices and criteria, including Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT); computer assisted auditing techniques (CAATs); as well as a basic knowledge of governmental accounting, to the work is performed in accordance with governmental auditing standards, as well as IT auditing standards issued by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

An Investigative Senior Auditor is a skilled professional with a strong knowledge of accounting practices and investigative methods. In addition, an Investigative Senior Auditor is expected to possess leadership skills, sound professional judgment, as well as advanced communication and organizational skills.

Staff Auditor 1 has a minimum annual salary of $49,000.
Staff Auditor 2 has a minimum annual salary of $52,920.
Staff Auditor 3 has a minimum annual salary of $57,680.
Sr. Auditor 1 has a minimum annual salary of $64,150.
Sr. Auditor 2 has a minimum annual salary of $76,230.
